I love cakes, cookies, pies, tarts, sweets and basically all lovely treats born out of an oven that I have decided to bake. This way, I can always have more than one serving...

Cookie cutters: Cute VS Alphabets

I need some cute cookie cutters and I am undecided between the cute and whimsical child's collection set that includes a teddy bear, angel, x'mas tree, santa, etc....

or the more practical but kinda boring set of alphabets....

I am very inclined to satisfy the childish side of me and get the child's collection instead. After all, what am I gonna spell with my cookies - my name? Yikes.

  1. Get the cute ones!!!!

i bought myself a bunch of animal cookie cutters from Ikea [see: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30133046]

My gingerbread cookies turned out to be the cutest things! but always felt so sorry about decapitating the animals..

felt it was less cruel to handicap them first, making them paraplegic.. then quadraplegic.. then after the poor things have nothing else left to live for, then chomp off their heads..

mm.. on second though, i should rethink my animal-cookie eating order. also, how do i explain to your god-daughter that it's ok to do this to cookie animals, but not to real ones?

  2. It actually isn't that horrid to eat animal biscuits until you describe it like that...you know, eating them limp by limp. EEEEEEEWWWWW.

I think I'll get the cute one, more bang for my money!

Tell Emilia that she can only eat those animals that do not make a noise or move when she pokes them. That should kinda help differentiate biscuits and real animals right? LOL.
