This recipe is loaded with oats and chocolate chips. The result is a crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside yummy cookie. However, you can subsitute or add on with raisins, dried cherries, walnuts, pecans, etc. Whatever you like!


Here's what you'll need:
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup flour (do not sift)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Cream the butter with brown sugar for 2-3 minutes.


3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat to combine.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and ground cinnamon.
